Things to do

The hostel is to the west of The Eden Project. The visitors centre is just 500 m accoss a field.

Three stunning beaches run for 2 miles around our side of the Bay, the closest, Crinnis Beach can be accessed by foot in 30 minutes.

You will find  beautiful countryside for both walking and cycling here. The intersection of cycle routes 2 & 3 is just 250 m north of the hostel and also the nearest point on the Clay Trails. The  multi use trails  are mostly off road. An explorer may follow them inland over the high ground or to the coast at Carlyon Bay or Par, just 3 km to the south and 4 km to the south east, respectively.

The Saints Way is an ancient pilgrimage route from Padstow to Fowey. The nearest point to Edens Yard is 2 km on the other side of the Eden's outer Estates.

Maps of all these routes are available on the Internet or alternatively, we have map leaflets at the hostel. Cycle hire is also available locally. Check online for up to date services and availability.
